Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is the foundation of modern vinyasa yoga practice. It is based on an set sequence from over 2000 years ago. The class is rigorous and disciplined but still accessible for people with no prior ashtanga experience. The teacher leads the class and gives plenty of demonstrations. It is a very traditional and classical yoga experience, believed to be the yoga written about in the ancient yogic texts.

The room is warm, but because there is so much movement, be prepared to sweat just as much as you would in one of our Bikram classes. This is a led class.

Ashtanga yoga is offered every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 AM.
